Valve and Fitment Applicators

MARBLE MANOR AUTOMATIC VALVE APPLICATORS

Series VA100 valve applicators install the valve from above the film (printed side down) as the film proceeds to the forming collar or plow. While being the most sophisticated, the Series VA100 is the simplest to install, requires the fewest additional rollers, and most often is mounted just before the forming collar on vertical form and fill machines.

Series VA200 valve applicators install the valves from below the film (printed side up). Used on form and fill machines when the valve can be applied from below the film. While the Series VA200 is lower in initial costs, the required reversal of the film path on vertical form and fill machines often make the Series VA100 preferable.

Any heat sealed valve or fitment can have an applicator made by Marble Manor. Standard
applicators are available for Fres-co, ICA, Pacific Bag, PPI, SIG and WIPF valves.

MARBLE MANOR MANUAL VALVE APPLICATORS

Series VA300 valve applicators will allow you to use standard pre-made bags and add valves when desired. Some ground coffee out-gases effectively during the cooling cycle. If this is the case, the sealed bag or pouch will not require a valve. However, the valve will be necessary if whole bean coffee is roasted and sealed while still fresh.
